iPlus at Bank Of New York Mellon

iPlus 2.5 is deployed within the The Bank of New York Mellon shared services environment, to be taken advantage of by all of the 18 BNY M Asset Management companies. This supports a manufacturing and distribution model and the rationalization of data collection within the group. The model allows a manufacturer to use the application for its own publications while a distributor utilizes the data to push publications into its own sales channels. This ensures the use of common data stores and business process across the Asset Management Group, simplifying and strengthening the information architecture. In addition the iPlus application is not only outputting hard copy but is also feeding marketing product and performance data onto various web sites ensuring timeliness and consistency of data as well as contributing to a more efficient model.
To support this, the BNY Mellon team deal with requirement gathering, design, data management, compliance and production. A small in-house team handle the development of the materials and oversee management of Pune, in India, who run the production. The structure keeps the need for the more expensive expert resources to a minimum while allowing cost effective expansion of the production team.
Examples of the variety and quality of investment communications produced by BNY Mellon AM through iPlus can be viewed on the BNY Mellon web site here.
In addition to the webfeed and PDF output shown above, MS PowerPoint slides, templated MS Excel and Consultant Database Management feeds can be serviced from the unified iPlus datasource, bringing unparalleled consistency of information across distribution channels.
